Leyton Orient forward Louis Dennis is back in full training after recovering from an injury.
The 27-year-old has not featured since the New Year's Day defeat to Walsall and while it's currently not known when he could return to match action due to the EFL suspension, he'll be in contention to be part of the squad once the season resumes.
Head coach Ross Embleton said: “Louis Dennis is training fully now. He’s back in contention and challenging again. He’s trained well over the last couple of weeks.
"We were desperate to have a reserve game two weeks ago but MK Dons pulled out. We were due to see people like Jobi [McAnuff], Louis, Sam [Ling], Joe Widdowson playing a few more minutes but unfortunately MK Dons pulled out on the game so we didn’t get to do that.
"As far as I’m concerned, all of those players are fully in contention."
One player who may not be ready for the resumption of the season, though, is Marvin Ekpiteta.
The defender is still suffering with bruising to his shins, although it's hoped that this time away from matches will allow him time to recover.
Embleton said: “He’s had it all season, from the back end of pre-season. The only real cure for it is rest and not running around, so for a footballer it isn’t a great thing. He does his work on the bike, he keeps himself active, he’s in the gym.
"He’s doing a lot of work around it but unfortunately we can’t put him out on the pitch because the impact on his shins has a severe effect. I know it’s improving and settling down but it’s severe bruising to his shins so it’s a frustrating one that only time and rest can help and it’s difficult then to put a figure or timescale on when he’s going to be back training.”
