Ross Embleton is hoping that conversations over new deals for "a number of players" will be wrapped up this week.
Goalkeeper Sam Sargeant was the latest to sign a new contract with the club at the end of last month, and with several contracts finishing at the end of this season, Embleton is hopeful more will follow suit.
He said: “There was a number of conversations with a number of players last week that we are hoping will be wrapped up this week and will reach a conclusion, or if not will be very close to one. I’m as keen as anybody to get certain elements of our squad and our team in place so that we know what we have and haven’t got for next year.
"We’re trying to be proactive as much as we can. It shouldn’t stop conversations, it shouldn’t stop discussions, you don’t have to sit in front of each other face to face to have these conversations. I certainly hope over the next week or so to have some direction on the lads that are here already and who we’re looking to offer new contracts to.”
