HUDDERSFIELD boss Andy Ritchie wants to return to winning ways immediately by beating Orient at home on Saturday, writes James Randall. The Terriers were beaten - Orient's Tuesday night's opponents - Swindon 3-2 last night, a result which will give O's boss Martin Ling confidence ahead of Saturday's crucial clash with the Yorkshire outfit.

Although he has given up on reaching the play-off's, Ritchie told the BBC he wants his side to get back to winning ways.

"We'll go down to Leyton Orient on Saturday and try and start the game better than we have done tonight. It'll be very difficult to climb that mountain into the play-offs now, but we've still got the games there. It needs us to go on that run again."

Orient, who along with Huddersfield are chasing the play-offs face each other at Brisbane Road the weekend, before the O's then face Swindon who have an outside chance of making the play-offs.

And Huddersfield boss Ritchie will hope his side perform better against the Londoner's at the weekend after describing his defender as playing like "schoolboys."

The O's claimed a hard fought 1-0 victory away to the Terriers earlier in the season, and will hope to better this result as they push for a top six finish.

After the weekend's match, the east Londoners will host Swindon on Tuesday night, with Ling's men desperate to get maximum points out of the two games.
