HAVING scored his sixth goal of the season at Brighton striker Jabo Ibehre is now hoping to get to double figures for the campaign by firing Orient to promotion in the process.
The 25-year-old frontman, who had missed a glorious chance to give the O's the lead shortly before his 80th minute header was left hugely disappointed that it didn't prove to be the winner at the Withdean on Saturday - as the Seagulls fired in a last-minute penalty to snatch a point.
He said: "We were all gutted after the game, because we had tried so hard to get an important win that would have put us firmly back into the play-off mix.
"I had got myself out of jail a bit because I missed a good chance and perhaps I hit the ball too well at the time.
"But fortunately Jason Demetriou who has been playing well all season put a great ball into the box and I was able to get a good header on it. Given there was only ten minutes left we were confident of going onto win the game from there, and conceding a penalty in the last minute was very disappointing.
"At the end of the day at least we got a point and we need to dust ourselves off because we have got two important homes games with Huddersfield and Swindon this week."
Reflecting on his chances of hitting double figures for the campaign, Ibehre added: "After the problems I've had with injuries I am just glad to be out there playing and feeling fit at the moment. Of course I'd love to get to double figures for the season and as long as I stay fit I'm sure the goals will keep coming.
"Hopefully that will help us continue this push for promotion, and I believe we still have a great chance of making the play-offs."
