Leyton Orient 1
Aldershot Town 1

(Pontin's Holidays Combination Central Division)

ORIENT'S reserves scored with just four minutes remaining to rescue a draw after a poor performance against Aldershot Town this afternoon.

Midfielder Wayne Corden smashed home the equaliser after Aldershot keeper Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz parried a cross.

A woeful attacking performance in the first half meant the O's went in to the break behind, Aldershot's Mendes making amends for an earlier miss by tucking in the opening goal.

Prior to the goal, it was The Shots who dominated possession and chances while the the O's struggled to get going.

However, they proved to be a different proposition after the break and became increasingly dangerous as the half progressed.

Youth team scholar Harry Barker came off the bench and provided a number of enticing crosses that the O's were unable to get on the end of.

They had to wait until the 86th minute for Corden to smash into the net.
