HUDDERSFIELD Town keeper Matt Glennon says his side simply must beat Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road tomorrow to keep alive their slim promotion hopes, writes James Randall.

Despite sitting in 16th in the League One table, The Terriers are still in with an outside chance of making the League One play-offs and are nine points adrift of sixth-place Tranmere with 13 games to play.

However, three straight defeats is not the form of a promotion-chasing side and Glennon blamed a "catalogue of mistakes" for the most recent set back - a 3-2 reverse away at Swindon on Tuesday night in which their opponents finished the game with nine men.

The 29-year-old though, wants them to draw a line under recent results and get back to winning ways in east London.

"All we have to focus on is going down to Orient and winning. Simple as that," he told the club's official website.

"We need to win 10 out of 13 games, so it's still the same, it's still a tall order.

"To be up there, though, you've got to be winning on Saturdays and Tuesdays, and we aren't doing it enough."

Glennon has also told his team that they need to cut out the silly errors if they have serious designs of finishing the season in the top six.

"We started badly (against Swindon) and it got worse," he said.

"There were a catalogue of mistakes from the first minute until they scored their third goal.

"I would say we are all upset not to take at least a point, especially having played against nine men for the final 15 minutes."
