SWINDON hitman Simon Cox wants to build on his scoring success at Orient tonight, writes James Randall.

The 21-year-old scored his first ever goal at Brisbane Road in April, when on-loan at Northampton from reading and wants to do the same when he lines up to face the east London club.

Cox told the clubs' official website:"I scored there for Northampton which was my first ever league goal. Hopefully I can do the same again on Tuesday night.

"It's a ground I know well. There are a few big stands and then a small one down the side. The fans behind the goal can be a bit fiery sometimes so there should be a decent atmosphere."

Cox has been in fine form this season slotting away nine in the league, the forward reckon's his side are looking forward to playing the Orient tonight.

He continued: "Sunday's training session was enjoyable. Everyone was in a good mood and the boys enjoyed it. We are all looking forward to Orient and hopefully a valuable away three points."

Town had the weekend off having beaten play-off competitors Huddersfield 3-2 the previous Tuesday, but according to cox it wasn't like they had their feet up.

He said: "There wasn't a game but the manager had us in for training. We had a fitness test on Saturday and it was a good session afterwards too.

"We had a bit of a blow and it was tough work, but without a game it was necessary."
