STRIKER Adam Boyd believes Tuesday night's fightback against Swindon could be the turning point that sees Orient go on to realise their play-off dream.

With the O's 1-0 down at the break and the chances of making a top six finish fast slipping away, Boyd popped up with a second-half brace that took his total to 15 for the campaign.

And the 2-1 victory that those goals secured has lifted the east Londoners to within just two points of the play-off zone ahead of their London derby at Millwall this weekend.

A delighted Boyd said: "We started off OK and maybe their goal shook us a bit and the lads could feel the negativity from the stands.

"But we had a big chat at half time and said this was going to be the biggest 45 minutes of our season. The play-off's are still up for grabs and as long as we keep doing our bit and other results keep going our way we can still make it."

Boyd is now targeting another victory against the in-form Lions who have secured impressive back-to-back away wins over Swansea and Yeovil in the last week.

He added: "We've got nine cup finals left now and we need to go there and get a win. I am sure even if we hadn't beaten Swindon we would have taken a big following to Millwall with it being a London derby, so I'm looking forward to the game."

And having been dropped for the previous two matches before Tuesday night, Boyd is hungry to continue firing Orient towards promotion.

He continued: "Obviously I want to score every time I play otherwise I wouldn't be here and hopefully there are plenty more goals to come this season."
