ORIENT winger Wayne Corden has joined Notts County on loan until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old, who signed for the O's in the summer of 2006 from Scunthorpe United following a successful loan spell, is out of contract in the summer and he will be hoping to make an impact with the League Two club.
Corden was a key figure in Orient's promotion from League Two in the 2005/06 season, after being signed in the January transfer window on-loan, scoring two goals in eight games.
Manager Martin Ling said: "Wayne has joined Notts County until the end of the season and he will hoping that turns into something more permanent.
"He is out of contract here in the summer and it's only fair that we let him out so that he can try and get something sorted for the longer term.
"It's a similar situation to when he first joined us and we hope this works out just as well for him.
"I'd like to place on record my thanks for what Wayne did for Leyton Orient Football Club.
"He played a big part in getting us promoted and then keeping us in this division last season - he goes to Notts County with our best wishes."
Ling may now look to bring in at least one more body to strengthen his own squad before the loan window closes on Thursday March 27.
