WINGER JJ Melligan is delighted to be back playing his part in Orient's late surge for a play-off spot.
The former Cheltenham man (above) who found himself out of the O's starting line-up, has made a big impact since earning a recall after laying on both the match winners in the east Londoners victories over Swindon and Millwall.
Those wins have taken Martin Ling's men level on points with sixth placed Walsall and in with a real chance of still securing promotion from League One.
"It has been good to be back involved, because it is frustrating when you are not playing," stated Melligan.
"I've been a lot happier with my contribution in the last couple of games, because it is always nice as a winger to set up winning goals.
"There have been some low times for me at Orient this season, but hopefully now I can make more of an impact in the final eight games.
"It would be good to get a few more assists and goals of my own now as well.
"So far I've only got three and normally I get to about eight or ten during a season.
"I know the Orient fans certainly haven't seen the best of me yet and I've still got a lot to prove to them.
"I have still got two years left with the club and I'd like to think those will begin in the Championship next season."
