DEFENDER Charlie Daniels believes the thin line between success and failure at Port Vale on Saturday typifies Orient's poor second half to the season.
The O's, who looked to be coasting to victory after Adam Boyd's first half penalty then went and conceded two late goals that effectively ended the east Londoners play-off hopes.
He said: "We should have buried them really because we were all over them.
"But for whatever reason it wasn't our day, especially as both Andy Barcham and Tamika Mkandawire had efforts that hit the post.
"But that has been the story to the second half of the season, where things have just gone against us and we've ended up losing games that perhaps we should have won.
"It is hugely frustrating because we should've been up there and we know that, but we can't just give up on the season and hopefully we can comeback now against Leeds on Saturday."
