WAYNE Gray said that the spirit at Orient is good, as the team prepares for Saturday's match against Brighton.
28-year-old striker returned to first team action on Tuesday, after spending six month's on the physio's table.
His knee injury now behind him, Gray almost scored the equaliser at the end of the thrilling 3-2 home defeat against Peterborough.
Afterwards, Gray said: "We’re far from giving up. There's a lot of points to play for and we want to get them.
"Our second half performance against Peterborough was really good and if we carry that on then you never know what can happen.”
Brighton are only one place and one point behind Orient in the League One relegation zone.
Saturday could prove decisive come May, but it is no more important than the rest of the O's remaining matches.
“Every game between now and the end of the season is massive for us" said Gray.
"We're in a bit of a sticky patch, but we went two games and got two results, so we want to do it again.
We want to get a run together and get ourselves out of trouble.
