LEYTON Orient are seeking to extend Simon Church’s spell at the club, while Adam Boyd stays on the treatment table.
The 20-year-old striker is set to return to Championship side Reading tomorrow, at the end of month long loan.
But Orient are keen to hold onto the hitman, who has scored two goals in the last last two games.
Church came to E10 to fill in up front for top-scorer Adam Boyd who suffered an ankle injury on St Valentine’s Day, against Crewe Alexandra.
After a slow start, the youngster has hit form recently and won praise from boss Geraint Williams.
A club source said that Boyd is set to resume training next week.
Orient have won three games in a row to move towards safety in League One.
