GERAINT Williams wants his players to spring a shock on the Leeds Utd big-boys tomorrow night.
The Orient manager was bullish ahead of the visit of the promotion chasing Yorkshire outfit.
He said: “Leeds Utd coming to town is a glamour game in this division. We’ve won three of the last five at home, and with a big club in town it’s a chance to show our fans that we mean business.
Leeds have the largest travelling fan base in League One, so the game could be a sell out if it attracts a larger-than-usual crowd of O’s fans to Brisbane Road.
“It would be fantastic” said Williams. “What I’ve said to the lads is that we’ve got to go away and be professional and prepare properly, because if it is a full house we want to put something on for our fans.”
Central defender Jordan Spence is not intimidated by Leeds Utd or their vocal fans.
“Leeds are a big side and we’ll respect them, but they’re in this league, so we’ll go into it for three points and to move further away from trouble” he said.
Midfielder Sean Thornton could return to action after a groin strain.
Defensive midfielder Adam Chambers looks set to miss the game with a calf problem. He could be back in action on Saturday.
