We set ourselves a target a couple of weeks ago, which we did not think we could realistically achieve.
But four wins in ten days over the Easter period, and we have done.
Everyone's over the moon, as we all, from number one to 11, have been outstanding.
I couldn't tell you precisely what the secret is. We could not buy a win a few months ago, but now it seems like we can't lose. That is football, I suppose. Just one or two small changes can change the whole thing around.
People are starting to hit their best form, and when you have eight or nine of your players on top form, there is no reason why we should not be winning the games we play.
The highlight of Easter for me was my goal at Swindon. It sealed it for me. We are definitely safe now and that means a lot to me, to secure our status for next year.
There's no doubt the ball hit my hand against Leeds United, which resulted in my dismissal. I was just showing keeper Jamie Jones how it is done! The ball was on its way in and it was just a natural reaction.
But how the boys came back from 2-0 down against Leeds, I do not know. Nobody should underestimate us, because the players we have in this side should be playing at a higher level.
My suspension was a rest for me, and it is always preferable to being dropped for lack of form. Against Swindon, I felt good and a little sharper. The referee against Leeds probably did me a favour.
It was a fine day at Swindon. When you see me not in underarm gear, you know it's hot out there. We get a choice of short or long sleeves before the game. I don't know if the second-skin gear is meant to make you sweat less, but I think you sweat more. It was hot at Swindon and we had to dig in from start to finish.
Now we can start to think about setting out our stall for next year. Hopefully, a few of the boys with families, who will be out of contract, can get that sorted.
Hopefully, the gaffer's contract can get sorted as well, because nobody could question him getting the job. He's doing it off the pitch and we're doing it on the field, and that is a good balance to make a good side. We'll be delighted if he gets the job.
Being safe in the league is a relief, a weight off our shoulders. Now we start thinking about the play-offs!
