DAGENHAM and Redbridge hit five goals to beat Torquay Utd.
The Daggers scored four during the second half at Victoria Road.
Danny Green got a brace soon after the break, to build upon Peter Gain’s opener on 18 minutes.
Torquay’s Nicky Wroe made it 3-1 from the penalty spot on 62 minutes.
But Josh Scott back heeled the hosts three goals ahead just four minutes later.
Torquay came back to within a goal of the Daggers in this high scoring contest, through Elliot Benyon and Mustapha Carayol.
Then deep in extra time, Wes Thomas made it five for John Still’s side.
Today, Daggers sit third in League Two, with two wins from two games at the start of the new season.
