LAST MEETING: Yeovil Town 1 Leyton Orient 0 (31-01-09).
This result was one of the most painful Orient suffered during the long dark days of last season, before Geraint Williams arrived. Martin Ling had just been sacked and caretaker boss Kevin Nugent watched on as Gavin Tomlin scored a last-minute winner.
THE OPPOSITION: The Glovers will be happy just to be in League One at the end of the season. Up to eight new players have joined during the transfer window and four of them have been borrowed from other teams.
DANGER MEN: Striker Jon Obika is on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. He was at Yeovil last season too, with winger Andros Townsend, who has since joined Orient for a spell. Danny Schofield could pose a threat from midfield. The experienced stalwart has a mean shot.
PREDICTION: Yeovil Town 1 Leyton Orient 2.
Orient are a team revitalised since that dark day in January. The O’s will have too much for the Glovers this time.
DID YOU KNOW? England cricket legend Ian Botham was at the club for three months in early 1985. Days after left, he jetted off to tour the West Indies with the England cricket team.
MIDWEEK: A Carling Cup clash against Stoke City awaits Orient after this game, at Brisbane Road next Wednesday.
