ORIENT boss Geraint Williams admitted his side did not deserve three points at Yeovil Town on Saturday.
The O's scored three times away from home, but left the West Country with just the one point.
Afterwards, Williams admitted a victory would not have been a just result.
Williams said: “I wouldn't say we deserved the win (at Yeovil) because both teams created so many chances that it could have been six each.
"To an extent the problems at the back were of our own making. I felt we went a little deep. Yeovil played some good football into feet and we let their centre forwards turn.
“We spoke about stopping that in the second half but we didn't, and it's something we'll have to keep working on."
The 3-3 draw at Huish Park at least meant Orient escaped a third defeat on the bounce in League One.
But Yeovil’s third goal was the seventh the O’s have conceded in three league contests.
Scott McGleish, Andros Townsend and a re-emergent Ryan Jarvis all got on the scoresheet.
The latter's 61st-minute strike was the O's second equaliser, after McGleish had headed them ahead with just five minutes gone.
Yeovil recovered from that to score two themselves and to take the lead going into half time.
But, on 42 minutes, Andros Townsend made sure it was honours even at the break with a terrific solo goal.
On the left flank, the borrowed winger dribbled the ball from all the way inside his own half to the edge of Yeovil’s area, and then thumped a low shot past Alex McCarthy in goal.
Securing Townsend for a month, maybe more, from Premier League Tottenham Hotspur, looks to have been a shrewd move by Williams.
The youngster adds much needed pace to Orient’s attacking play.
Another plus for the O's was Ryan Jarvis’ second goal in a week.
He is desperate to put his injury problems behind him, and is going the right way about it.
Williams was full of praise for the pair.
"Ryan is a very sharp forward. He's strong, he's six-foot plus so he can win balls in the air and, at the minute, his finishing is very, very clinical. So there was nobody better for the ball to fall too for the equaliser and he stuck it away."
On Townsend’s strike, Williams said: "It was a fantastic goal with great skill, pace and calmness in the end to slot it in.”
