ORIENT have drafted in a goalkeeper from Premier League Spurs while Jamie Jones recovers from blows to his head.
21 year-old Lee Butcher has come to Brisbane Road on a month long loan deal, after boss Geraint Williams received medical advice about the condition of his first choice keeper.
"Jamie Jones has had two bangs on the head recently and the doctor feels it is best if he rests up for a couple of weeks to be on the safe side.
"We're delighted to offer a chance for Lee to join us” said Williams.
Tottenham Hotspur are understood to stipulate that players they send out on loan to other clubs get a certain amount of game time there.
Williams hinted that Butcher will not warm the bench all through his spell with Orient.
“He'll be looking to get on the bench or starting while Jamie is resting up” he told club sources.
