Gillingham started this game wearing Orient's black away strip because their own kits were stuck in traffic on the A12.
Some Gillingham players arrived just in time for this League One fixture because of the massive traffic jams caused by a lone protester on a Leytonstone roof.
Police had tried to coax the man down from his perch since the afternoon, but he was able to disrupt Gills' plans for this evening game.
But Andy D'Urso got the game kicked off on time.
