RUSSELL Slade will be finally confirmed as the permanent Orient boss, tomorrow (Friday).

Club chairman Barry Hearn said last weekend that the deal would be wrapped up by Monday.

But there has been no announcement.

Now Slade has told Guardian Series Sport that he is cemented in position, with the deal done.

“It will happen tomorrow. The club will put out an announcement” he said.

“Management is what I do. It’s a challenge, and it’s an exciting time as we build and rebuild a team to improve on last year”.

Slade revealed he has already set about the work he has to do this summer.

“I’ve met one or two players already, and have a host of players who I will meet next week”.
