Daggers boss John Still and ex-Orient manager Geraint Williams are two of the names being uttered as possible candidates for the vacant Colchester United job.
Still has performed wonders at League Two Dagenham & Redbridge, leading the Daggers to the play-off final at Wembley.
Colchester lost Aidy Boothroyd to Coventry City yesterday and are now looking for a replacement.
Williams, sacked by Orient this season, is the man who led Colchester to the Championship and some fans are already calling for him to return to the club.
