ORIENT boss Russell Slade has laid out what he wants to achieve during the raft of upcoming friendly matches, starting tonight with Cray Wanderers away.
“It’s about blending the new players with the players that existed in the squad before” he said.
“We want balance and partnership and understanding.”
Tonight's match could see new signing George Porter play for the first time since he moved from Wanderers in May.
Striker Alex Revell predicts that teenage Porter will get a positive reaction from home fans if he plays this evening.
"I wouldn't expect him to get booed. I came from non-league and it's exciting when you step up.
"He will want to show he can make it."
