ORIENT succumbed to a late winner which settled a tight semi-final contest againt Premier League Blackpool in Devon, today.
Ian Evatt had the easiest of tap-in's at the death when he followed up Charlie Adams' free-kick which had clattered off the woodwork, with keeper Jamie Jones was helpless on the ground.
The strike cancelled out Scott McGleish's equaliser just before half-time. Then, the veteran rose highest to head home Dean Cox's left wing cross.
The friendly clash had seemed set for penalties after McGleish had brought the O's back onto level terms. Francis Jeffers slotted Ian Holloway's team in front on 23 minutes.
