GEORGE PORTER netted in Orient’s last pre-season match on Tuesday night.
A team comprised of youngsters played out a 2-2 draw with Conference South new-boys Dartford FC.
The results means the O’s end their round of friendlies with just one defeat.
Boss Russell Slade is satisfied with the progress made.
“We’ve had so many new players arriving, and with the time we’ve been given I think we’ve done exceptionally well,” he said.
Jonathan Téhoué was the sole first-team regular at Princes Park.
The Frenchman played for an hour as he recovers from injury.
Porter, 17, struck first on 49 minutes after a quiet first half.
He reacted fastest when Téhoué’s header hit the crossbar.
The Darts got back on level terms three minutes later, before Harry Beautyman re-established Orient’s lead a mere three minutes after that.
But the Darts pegged Orient back again, and it ended all square.
