ORIENT are now just six points off the play-off places.
The 2-1 win at Tranmere Rovers on Saturday lifted the O's to 16th position.
League One is so tight, however, Russell Slade's men are still only two points clear of the drop zone.
But it is now eight games without defeat in all competitions for Orient, and four of those were wins.
And Orient will fancy their chances of another three points in their final match before Christmas this Saturday.
Plymouth Argyle are the visitors to Brisbane Road and the Pilgrims, despite their nickname, are not the greatest of travellers.
Argyle have won just two games away from Home Park.
