It was about time I got on the scoresheet last weekend. It took me long enough. I really think I should be on about five or six by now for all the chances I’ve had!
But what was most pleasing was that we got three more points away on the road.
It was a tough game for us after we played 120 minutes in the previous match.
There was some doubt we would hold out because they had not played a game for a couple of weeks. They had a bit more life left in them near the end, but we did well with a great team performance.
Jason Brown has shown what he can do and I think he’s shown he is a quality keeper really.
It is nice to now go into the Christmas spell, and two home games, with a pair of away wins under our belts.
On the plus side for us, we do have Jamie Jones coming back from injury and I think he’s one of the best young keepers around at the moment.
Plymouth deserve credit for how they’ve won two on the trot.
