I think the Football League should be like the Irish game and run from March to October.
This is because there is too much uncertainty around winter fixtures.
You cannot plan your life and clubs are losing money left, right and centre as well.
I say this because Hartlepool away is looming. Not exactly a local derby!
Who in their right mind would have given us such a ridiculous Christmas fixture?
Poor weather will soon see that game moved to mid-April.
I’m also worried about the two games we have yet to rearrange, Swindon Town and Carlisle United.
Overhauling the domestic game aside, we need to capitalise on our good away form and pick up home points, starting against Plymouth on Saturday.
I’ll stick my neck out and predict a 3-1 win for Orient. But beware because the Pilgrims are fighting for their lives.
