ORIENT host Plymouth Argyle this Saturday.
Like the O's, the Pilgrims are battling to stay clear of the dreaded drop zone.
But Plymouth also have a battle off the pitch. Here's the lowdown on Saturday's visitors...
LAST MEETING: Plymouth Argyle 3 Leyton Orient 0 (League Two 16-03-2002). Orient drew a blank at Home Park in this basement clash. Strikers Steve Watts and Iyseden Christie did not get a sniff.
THE OPPOSITION: The Pilgrims could soon be wiped from the football map altogether by a winding up order, unless a giant tax bill is paid soon. A host of players have been sent out on loan in a bid to cut the wage bill. Former Orient loan man Luke Summerfield will not play at the Matchroom Stadium because of a serious knee injury. It has been a tough season for the midfielder since he scored in the very first game.
DANGER MEN: Bradley Wright-Phillips is top scorer for Argyle with 12 goals to his name. That is an impressive return in a team which is struggling at the wrong end of League One. Winger Craig Noone could also cause a problem for Orient with pace and trickery. Stand-in skipper Noone is a top provider who also chips in with goals of his own.
PREDICTION: Orient 3 Plymouth 1.
MIDWEEK: There is no other game for Orient until MK Dons come to Brisbane Road on Boxing Day.
