EX-Orient winger Andros Townsend hit an FA Cup goal on his debut for Spurs, last weekend.
The 19 year-old showed his apprenticeship at the Matchroom Stadium last season was well spent, as he opened the scoring against Charlton in the FA Cup third round tie.
The display at White Hart Lane by the 19 year-old winger earned praise from deputy boss Kevin Bond.
“He is naturally left footed and can come inside and bounce it off the front men,” said Bond.
“As you saw with the goal coming in on to his good side he can get shots away.
“He has plenty of energy and plenty of enthusiasm."
