Supporting one of the “Big Four” teams brings a more consistent supply of victories, but nothing can beat the sheer joy of a good old-fashioned FA Cup giant killing.
It’s days like last Saturday’s win at Norwich when I forget about the all-year-round grief I get for following the O’s and I can revel in the glories of supporting a lower league side.
An Orient away victory is a rare occurrence these days. But when they do come along, there seems to always be something special about them.
And so it proved again after a titanic performance against the Canaries in round three.
Our defending was the best I’ve seen in years and Norwich simply couldn’t match our passion and dedication on the day.
We possessed a threat in the final third and Norwich’s defence never looked confident when we attacked them.
