VICTORY over promotion chasers Sheffield Wednesday was only a matter of patience, according to deputy boss Kevin Nugent.
Orient buried the Owls 4-0 at the Matchroom Stadium, today (Saturday).
Spurs loanee Harry Kane netted on his home debut. Ben Chorley, Alex Revell and Paul Jose M'Poku also scored in a season-best display.
"We thought if we kept trying to do what we wanted in the first half, and be patient in possession, we'd get our rewards," said Nugent.
They came with a good game plan and they contained us a little bit in the first-half.
"We kept our energy levels really high because the lads have been working really hard and we've got a very fit bunch of players.
