RUSSELL SLADE has dropped an early hint about his plans for next season.
Talking about the play-offs, Slade said: “If it’s not to be this season, and that’s not to say I’ve given up because we never give up, but then hopefully we can push on again (next season) and make one of two signings and be that little bit stronger.”
It indicates that Slade is not seeking a move away from Orient, after a successful League One campaign.
It is only interpretation. But his words do not suggest any reluctance by him to stay at the Matchroom Stadium, where he currently lives in one of the corner-flag apartments.
But with this being the world of football, it might be rash for the club’s kit manufacturers to start printing the letters on Slade's next personalised tracksuit, just yet.
