Leyton Orient will host Bristol Rovers in the second round of the Carling Cup after the Pirates overcame Watford 4-2 in a penalty shoot out last night.
The first round tie between Rovers and the Hornets was postponed at the request of the police following unrest in the Bristol area.
The O’s will now welcome Paul Buckle’s side to Brisbane Road next week, with the tie scheduled for Tuesday, August 30, with a 7.45pm kick off.
The fixture could see former O Scott McGleish line up against his former team mates after joining up with the Pirates over the summer.
McGleish, who missed in the shoot out last night, finished last season as top scorer at Brisbane Road and will no doubt look to come back and haunt his former employers.
