Midfielder Michael Richardson has returned to Newcastle United following his loan spell with the O’s.

The 19-year-old was recruited to E10 on the eve of the new season and bagged one goal during his spell with the club – that coming in the Carling Cup game at Southend United.

O’s fans shouldn’t have to wait too long for a new arrival coming into the club however, with manager Russell Slade confirming a deal was in place for another loan signing.

Speaking to the club’s website last week, Slade said: “We’ve agreed for a player to join us on loan once the loan window opens next week, and we’ll also look to bring in further loans at that time too.”
