Russell Slade says the O's have to be more resilient if they are to improve their home form for next season.
Saturday’s match with Rochdale saw Orient claim just their sixth home success in League One this season, with only Scunthorpe United winning in front of their home support on fewer occasions.
The O’s record on the road however, made for happier reading, with seven hauls of three points from their away days - a match for play-off finishing Huddersfield Town - and Slade is looking for his squad to show greater resilience next season in order to address that home showing.
The manager explained: “There is a lot of work that has got to be done. We have got to be more resilient than we have been.
“There have been seven games this season where we have got ourselves into a great position to go on and win a football match and we have failed to do that. We can’t let that happen.
“There has to be that resilience there, that determination that if the game is going to be tight, the first thing we do is that we don’t lose it.”
