LEYTON Orient have formally submitted a bid to run the Olympic Stadium after the Games, according to reports.

The BBC claims four organisations are on a shortlist to manage the venue following the closing date for applications last Thursday (July 12).

Other bidders are West Ham Football Club, the UCFB College of Business Football and Intelligent Transport Services, a Wanstead-based firm which reportedly wants to use the stadium as a Formula 1 racing car track.
