Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade could not take any positives from their dire 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth this afternoon.
The O's failed to test Cherries keeper David James all afternoon and second-half goals from Lewis Grabban and Marc Pugh setted the contest.
Slade said: "There are not too many positives I can draw from the game no. It was a below par performance and we said that even at half-time and certainly at full time."
Bournemouth came into the game without a home win but they were lifted before kick-off with the arrival of new boss Eddie Howe for his second spell at the club. Slade expects them to rise up the table quickly and has no doubts about the strength of their squad.
The manager said: "Possibly it was a missed opportunity but possibly not. They've got some good players make no mistake about that. I said if you waken this giant it could take off.
"Eddie's come in now and it wouldn't surprise me if this club shot up the table. You've only got to look at the programme and look at the players. They've got a big strong squad."
