Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade insisted his side were excellent for 77 minutes of their 2-0 defeat at Oldham.
The O's conceded twice late on through efforts from Matt Derbyshire and Jose Baxter but Slade was pleased with the majority of his team's performance.
Slade, who was adamant Derbyshire used his hand prior to scoring the opener, said: "I thought for 77 minutes we were excellent against a really good Oldham side.
"But we knew they were in really good form and I thought our defensive shape was excellent. They're a threat from set plays and we've not deal with a set play but I have to tell you it's an absolute blatant handball.
"It would have been nice to have created a bit more but it was 0-0 and a tight game. It was a typical League One match where there weren't many chances.
"What did they create up to 77 minutes? What did they create in the second half up until 77 minutes and the handball? What did they do? They're the home side and we're the away side. I'm doing a job here."
