Essex Premier Cup
Frenford Senior progressed to the second round in emphatic style as they hammered Kirby Athletic 10-0. Danny Driscoll and Tom Wightman both claimed hat-tricks with Duane Miller, Stuart Williams, Damon O’Neil and Carl Conway also getting among the goals.
There was another ten goals for Debden Sports, who thrashed Bowers & Pitsea 10-1.
Dave Limber opened the scoring after only four minutes, had a hat-trick on 32 minutes and went on to score five goals in total.
The other Debden goals were supplied by Chris Howard with two, Matthew Dodd, Josh Sole and Andy Hunter. Hutton also booked their place in the next round by beating Great Bentley 9-1 away from home.
Chris Howlett scored five and there was a brace apiece for Hassan Baccus and Ricky Butler. Marcus Bowers bagged himself a hat-trick as Basildon Town sent Old Southendian packing with a 6-0 win.
Reece Conway, Tom Barton and Dan Gibbons were the other Basildon scorers.
Manford Way recorded a comprehensive 7-2 win over Boxted Lodgers as Teddy Watson and Frank Allie both scored twice.
Jamie Lovall, Steven Rowles and Reece Simpson completed the scoring.
The all-Olympian Premier Division encounter between Harold Hill and Kelvedon Hatch ended 4-1 in Kelvedon’s favour.
Kelvedon scored through Mike Daniels (2), Chris Neville and Wayne Semanshia, with Danny Sabaroche netting for Harold Hill. Two goals from Hussein Isa saw M&B Club beat Gosfield United 2-0.
Thurrock Reserves were knocked out by Rayleigh Town, who registered a 4-2 away victory with Harly Kee (2), Lewis Manor and Luke Smith bagging the goals.
Romford Reserves edged past Lakeside with a 3-2 victory.
Snaresbrook shocked Hannakins Farm as Junior Dentelli, Mitchell Collymore and Sam Kelly rifled in the goals that won the game 3-2.
Both Hannakins’s goals come from Brett Munyard and they also finished the game with ten men.
Greig Taylor hit the net twice as Southminster St Leonards beat Little Oakley 2-0.
Springfield came away from Lawford Lads with a 2-0 victory.
A first-half goal from Steve Wareham was added to in the second half by Larne Virgo.
Broomfield lost 5-3 to Tollesbury after extra-time despite goals from Yari Morrison, Aaron Elvin and Nic Horsnell.
Alemite Athletic enjoyed a comfortable passage to the next round as they beat Bradfield Rovers 5-0. Mark Baptiste and Brett Doherty were the scorers for Catholic United as they edged out Roydon 2-1. Roydon’s goal was scored by Nader Benzid.
Old Chelmsfordians held their nerve to beat Wormingfield Wanderers on penalties after the game finished 2-2 after extra-time.
Josh Brown scored both the Chelmsfordian goals before the match was decided on spot-kicks.
Senior Division Cup
Rochford Town pulled off a shock as they knocked Premier Division leaders Buckhurst Hill out with a 2-1 win.
Ryan Lancaster and Tobis Marshall were the Rochford heroes, scoring one apiece, which trumped Steve Johnson’s goal for Buckhurst. Toby were knocked out at the hands of Harold Wood Athletic, who came away with a 3-2 away win courtesy of Jake Marsh, Jordan Marsh and Billy Fairbanks.
Toby’s goals came from Ryan Morgan and James Coleman.
Premier Division Wadham Lodge moved up to seventh in the Premier Division table after they crushed White Ensign 7-2.
Bobby Dwayne slammed home a hat-trick with Leon Wilson, Tom Carroll, Servan Bunyat and Sid Ahmed also chipping in.
Division One
Goals from Neil Coleman and Dean Shirley were not enough to gain Old Barkabbeyans any points as they went down 3-2 at Galleywood.
Adam Dowsett, Mattew Riley and Aaron Riley claimed the goals that earned Galleywood the win.
David Nott and an own goal gained Newham United a 2-0 derby win over Canning Town. Westhamians picked up their second win of the season that lifted them out of the relegation zone.
Ashley Daniels, Daniel Wheeler and Tony Iyaki scored the goals that gained them a 3-2 victory over Leigh Rambers, who scored via Jack Caton and Ryan Lowe.
A Michael Dekerzer goal secured Herongate Athletic a 1-0 home victory over Leigh Ramblers.
Division Two
Ongar Town are top of the table after they beat Ryan 4-1 with Niki Love grabbing all four.
Springfield also scored four in a 4-0 home victory over Upminster through Bill Texeria, Alex Broadbridge, Adam Dobbs and Francis Wright.
Division Three
Forest Glade gained their first win of the season after they beat bottom club Leytonstone United 3-0.
Jamie Merritt, Ben Howard and Josh Knowles provided the goals.
Sungate also recorded their first victory of the campaign with a 2-0 win over Stambridge United.
Bobby Jacobs and Conor Maher were both on target.
