Four East London Runners completed the Amsterdam Marathon at the weekend.
Patrick Brown was first in and recorded a personal best of 2.48.50 which was enough for 180th.
Manjit Bedi wasn’t far behind with 2.50.08, while Michael Wilson (3.48.11) and John Atkinson (4.17.42) completed the Runners contingent.
Three Runners travelled to Pembrokeshire for the Coastal Challenge which saw the trio take on marathon distances over the course of three days.
After three closely-fought races, Roberto Bruni came 13th with a total time of 17.25.06, Jimmy Hartwell finished 32nd with 21.00.06 and Trish Kelly ended up 43rd with 24.43.34.
At the Birmingham Half Marathon, Steven Bywater registered a time of 1.56.29 on Sunday.
At a shorter distance, James Wilson led the way at the Wanstead Flats 5km parkrun.
Wilson came second overall with a time of 19.30 before Gavin Stebbing (19.39), Russell Price (20.45) and Jonny Shaw (21.23) finished third, fifth and tenth respectively.
At the Hackney Marshes parkrun over the same distance, Lee Wollaston came fifth, recording a personal best of 19.36.
Claire Parker was the second fastest woman and came 11th overall with 21.38, while David Wyatt came 34th in 26.19.
At the Walthamstow 5km parkrun, David Baldwin finished fourth in 21.18.
Sarah Burns was the second woman home at the Southend 5km parkrun, stopping the clock on 22.26 which was a personal best.
