Southminister St Leonards thrashed Leytonstone United 9-0 on Saturday to progress into the third round.

Greig Taylor and Lee Perry both netted braces, while Jordan Tolan, Lloyd Wilson, Tom Hine, Nick Pegg and Nathan Ruggles also got on the scoresheet.

An impressive hat-trick from Lee Newton guided Kelvedon Hatch to a 5-0 victory over Great Wakering Rovers Reserves. James Burt and Reiss Kingsley also scored for Kelvedon.

Manford Way eased into the next round of the cup after a 6-2 win over Barnston thanks largely to a Gavin Toussaint hat-trick. Darren Young (2) and Shaun Farnam completed the scoring.

Old Chelmsfordians put aside their indifferent league form and caused an upset by beating Premier Division side Wadham Lodge 3-2. Liam Hopkins, Ryan Sutton and Marti Cullum all got on the scoresheet.

Frenford Senior edged out Division Two leaders Ongar Town via a solitary Danny Driscoll strike.

Extra-time was needed to find a winner in the Newbury Forest and Springfield clash. Bradley Gates fired home a last-gasp winner for Forest to ensure his side’s progress.

There was a notable win for Canning Town, as Neil Barrett, Chris Barrett, Scott Lovett and Courtney Linton all grabbed goals in a 5-1 victory over Coggeshall Town. Junior Denteli scored for Snaresbrook, who were denied victory after a dramatic penalty shoot-out defeat to Holland 4-2.

Rochford Town knocked out Old Barkabbeyans, winning a close encounter 3-2, with Nathan Dewberry (2) and Shaun Ilett bagging the goals.

Two goals from Josh Sole and a solo strike from Chris Howard secured victory for Debden Sports as they beat Benfleet 3-2.

Despite goals from Germaine Gregoire and William Owher, Ryan were defeated 3-2 by East Thurrock United Reserves.

Division One

Old Southendian snatched a vital three points following a 3-1 home win over Newham United. Ollie Tatton-Bennett, Thomas Judge and David Stubbs were all on target for the home side.

Division Three LOASS’ Claudio Goncalves netted two late goals to earn a 2-2 draw with Stambridge United.

Stambridge had a clear two-goal lead but conceded twice in the closing stages to only gain a share of the spoils.
