Fourth XI Premier Division

Matt Trim and Imran Hussain fell just short of centuries as Woodford Green Fourths were held at home by Buckhurst Hill Fourths.

Hussain (97) and Trim (92) did their bit to help the hosts’ cause before declaring on 272 for seven.

Deep Chauhan took three for 42 for the visitors.

Buckhurst faltered in response and after a duck from opener Naomal Wijesooriya, matters scarcely improved.

Trim excelled with the ball too, cleaning up with figures of three for 11, only for the visitors to hold out on 141 for six.

Chingford Fourths cruised to an 81-run win at Harold Wood Fourths.

Only two batsmen failed to reach double figures for the hosts, who were removed for a good total of 237.

Joe Stallibrass did his bit to stem the tide, taking five for 71.

In response, the hosts struggled and could only must 156 all out, with Geoff Smith (43) top-scoring.

Fourth XI Division One

A poor batting display was to blame as Oakfield Parkonians Thirds lost by three wickets at home to Harlow Fourths.

Erratic run scoring saw Parks struggle to 168 all out, with Yogaratnam Karunakaran (46) and Vijay Vijayanathan (45) top-scoring.

Kyle Farmer and Taha Hameed Khan both finished on four for 44 to keep the score down.

Harlow make tough work of reaching the required total, hitting 170 with four wickets in hand.

Fives and Heronians Fourths suffered a nine-wicket defeat at Wickford Fourths.

The visitors put up 160 for nine before the home side reached 161 having lost just one wicket.

Fourth XI Division Two

Epping Thirds made hard work of beating Basildon and Pitsea Fourths by three wickets away from home.

Harrison Birch (42) was comfortably the hosts’ top scorer but Basildon could not build on that start and were bowled out for 101.

Uwais Shah and Mohammed Zubair took three wickets each before Epping sealed victory.

Fourth XI Division Three

Despite being two men short, Oakfield Parkonians Fourths battled to a draw at Stanford-le-Hope Fifths.

Parks reached 204 for six before declaring, with Stefan Premadasan providing an important 55.

Matt Hasler hit 71 to get the hosts’ innings off to strong start but they could not replicate the opener’s form and closed on 165 for nine.
