Premier Division
Chingford won the title on Saturday with a 79-run success at Chelmsford which put them out of sight with one match remaining.
Second-placed Wanstead and Snaresbrook can no longer catch Chingford, who sit 22 points clear at the summit.
Batting first, Chingford were not at their best at the crease, with Ben MacGregor (41) leading the way.
However, the runs did not flow and despite 23 each from Billy Rhone and Paul Shawyer, the hosts were left with work to do with the ball as they closed on 183 for eight.
MacGregor quickly got stuck into the Chelmsford line-up, helping himself to three for 22 as the visitors struggled to chase down their hosts’ total.
Nick Prowting managed 266 and Jack Sterland hit 20 but Chelmsford were removed for 104 to land Chingford the points and the title.
Wanstead and Snaresbrook missed out on the title to Chingford following a six-wicket loss at Brentwood but know they can secure the runners-up spot next weekend.
Electing to bat first, the visitors were unable to build any momentum with the bat, losing openers John Chambers (9) and Arfan Akram (0) early on.
Kishan Velani hit 29 and further down the order, Joe Ellis-Grewal weighed in with 35 but the away side were unable to score quickly or frequently and were removed for 149.
Charlie Griffiths proved the tormentor for Wanstead, taking four for 22 from his 9.3 overs.
Brentwood quickly raced towards the required total, with Jonathan Walford (59) providing the key knock as the home side made minimal fuss of reaching 150 with six wickets intact.
Mohammed Fayyaz-Khan took two for 12 but couldn’t deny this hosts victory.
South Woodford can relax going into the final weekend of the season after a three-wicket win against Harold Wood secured their top-flight status for another year.
Garry Neicho took three for 26 for the home side but Harold Wood still made a competitive 225 for eight, with Hamza Ikram (63) and Kristen Ali (64) providing good scores.
James Malin - batting at number five - scored 81 as South Woodford reached 226 with three wickets intact.
Bradley Copper weighed in with a further 30 for the hosts.
Loughton are safe from the threat of the drop, following a five-wicket win over Ilford.
Put into bat first, Ilford began encouragingly, with Hendro Puchert (48) and Nigel Jacobs (57) scoring well, but the run-rate slowed and the away side were dismissed for 193.
Awais Liaqat impressed with the ball, taking four for 27.
In reply, Loughton got home with 195 for five, thanks to good contributions from the middle order.
Hafiz Yawar Azfal scored 54 and Kashif Mahmood made 36, pushing the home side towards a total of 195 for five.
Division One
A huge 127 not out from William Rodgers was not enough to see Woodford Wells to victory at Colchester and East Essex.
The hosts won by six wickets but after Rodgers (127 not out) and Ed Buxton (62) put together a strong partnership, a Woodford Wells win looked the more likely outcome.
Wells could only close on 221 for three, though, as time ran out.
Colchester shared the runs around in reply, with Henry Foster (78 not out) and Camden Hawkins (68) making the most significant contributions to a winning total of 222 for four.
Division Two
Fives and Heronians thrashed West Essex by 114 runs, leaving the latter needing a miracle to survive.
West Essex trail Gidea Park and Romford by 15 points but know if they win and Gidea Park lose next weekend, they will survive and send the latter down in their place.
Terry Ballard hit 123 for Fives, who made a total of 249 before removing their visitors for 135 to claim the points.
Division Three
Rana Arslan played a key role with both bat and ball as Woodford Green beat Old Brentwoods by 48 runs.
Woodford were invited to bat first and took their opportunity to set about posting a competitive total, with Jack Cossey (36) and Anthony Palmer (56) building steadily.
Arslan then took over, hitting 40 from just 46 deliveries to help the home side reach a competitive 222 all out.
Ubaid Kiana smashed ten tours en-route to 86 before Arslan dismissed him and then the Woodford all-rounder stole the show, claiming five for 56.
Assisted by Haroon Hafeez (three for 42), the pair cleaned up, removing the visitors for 174.
Oakfield Parkonians strolled to a 95-run win at Basildon and Pitsea, which leaves the hosts looking nervously over their shoulder ahead of the final weekend of the season.
Sachin Vara (57) and Taaha Naqvi (61) got the visitors off to a strong start, with Vikram Handa (38) and Usman Rafiq (28) both chipping in.
Luke Daw (six for 58) proved effective with the ball for Basildon but Parks reached 236 before being bowled out.
Basildon only had three batsmen reach double figures, with Kalai Selven (28) and Michael Gray (26) leading the way in a total of 141 all out; Amar Thanki taking three for 38.
Bottom-of-the-league Epping were beaten at top-of-the-table Harlow Town by four wickets.
The visitors won the toss and opted to bat first but saw their first three batsmen removed for the paltry total of just three runs.
Some stubborn middle-order batting appeared to have got Epping up-and-running, with Tapan Patel (39) and Ajay Sahni (27) making good contributions.
A late 38 from William Beavers helped push the Epping total up to 168 but it never looked likely to be enough for the visitors.
Dan Calver took two for 13 and Daniel Farmer claimed two for 18 for the hosts.
The bowling of Sachin Bawa (four for 24) meant Harlow did not have things all their own way in reply, but still reached 169 for six, thanks to Shiraz Ali (52) and Joe Holland (43).
