CHIGWELL Row golfer Oliver Fisher struggled to find his solid early season form at the Malaysian Open at the weekend.
The West Essex pro has so far enjoyed a strong start to 2008, but following a short break from the European Tour he could only manage a joint-59th place at the Kota Permai Golf Club.
The 19-year-old got off to a flying start on Thursday with an opening round of 68, that was even two shots better than eventual winner Ajun Atwal.
A 71 on day two saw Fisher easily make the cut, although final rounds of 72 and 74 saw him drop down the field and eventually finish on three under and some 15 shots behind Atwal.
Fisher now sits in 66th place on the Volvo Order of Merit.
