SPURS defender Jonathan Woodgate has laid down the gauntlet to Chelsea ahead of tomorrow's clash at White Hart Lane.

He also spoke of the West London club's desire for revenge after Juande Ramos' men triumphed at Wembley to win the League Cup last month.

"Believe me, Chelsea will be going all out to win," Woodgate told Tottenham's official website.

"It will be a harder game than the final without a doubt, and they will want to put that right.

"But we always fancy ourselves to beat anyone, home or away, and this is no different. We also want to put matters right after Manchester City.

"They are going for the league title, they've always been there and thereabouts and the race is still wide open. They've top players who are hitting form at the right time.

"When you are professional footballer you want to win as many games as you can and keep pushing up the league. We don't want to be in the bottom half of the table.

"We've nine games left, 27 points to play for and we'll be looking to win every game."
