SWIMMING
YOUNG swimmers from the London Borough of Waltham Forest Swimming Club continued to show their potential at the recent Secondary Age Group' gala.
Designed for those still aiming for county qualification times, 11 members of the club swam personal bests to take medals and achieve times that would have seen them qualify for the County Championships.
Leading the way was Eris Crawford with seven times falling inside the qualifying limit.
She produced excellent swims in 100m and 50m butterfly, 100m and 50m backstroke, 100m and 50m breaststroke, and the 100m Individual Medley (IM).
Alistair Frances achieved four times, 100m freestyle, 100m and 50m backstroke, and 100m IM, while Naill Gandy, Oliver Burling, David Hare and Ella Augustin all got three.
Rochelle Cabey, Poppy Hill and Elliott Hill all managed to pick up two qualifying times and Morgan Watts and Joshua Burcombe one each.
