ETON Manor's young athletes brought home a clutch of medals from their second indoor meeting of the year at Picketts Lock at the weekend.
Kamal Rhule grabbed gold in the boys' under 11 after coming seventh from over 50 entries after impressive displays in the 60metres, 200m and the vertical jump. In the boys' U13 category, Maxwell Samuda also excelled in the same three events to take silver, while Sean Taylor ran well in the 60m and 200m and recorded a strong long jump to grab a bronze medal.
In the same age group, Michael Taylor, Alex Solomon and Cairo Rhule also put in several eye-catching performances from their events.
In the boys' U15 Antoni Spooner demonstrated his full array of talents with some good throwing, jumping and running, while Rhianna Buaku was the standout athlete in the girls' U9 as she ran well for second after 60m and 200m sprints.
There were more top class all-round displays from Allanah Green, Jada Coburn and Sila Kara. In the U11's, Alliah Auguste and Joy Coburn combined to take a silver medal and Dilan Aktas excelled in the long jump and shot putt to take the bronze.
Finally, in the U13 group, Georgia Green won gold for her fourth place overall finish following superb runs in the 60m hurdles, 200m and 600m, while Ilayda Aktas also ran strongly in the same category.
