FOOTBALL ROUND-UP
HARLOW head into another relegation battle with Harrow Borough this week full of confidence after earning a last-gasp draw against Boreham Wood.
Town fought back from behind three times in an enthralling game, with John Frendo's 93rd minute goal canceling out Sean Soner's effort two minutes earlier.
The result keeps the Rams in touch with the rest of the relegation-threatened sides as they prepare for another crunch clash at Harrow, who are just one point above Greg Alzapiedi's men in 18th.
Elsewhere, Epping's Tommy Brinkman scored with the final attack of the game to earn his side a point against Galleywood on Saturday.
The morale-boosting result will no doubt lift the side ahead of what promises to be a tough game on Saturday, as they play host to second-placed Frenford Senior in the Essex Olympian Football League Senior Premier Division.
Meanwhile, in the Essex Olympian Division One, Buckhurst Hill will look forward to a home fixture against basement boys Leytonstone United.
Phil Hernon's troops will take solace from the fact that his team have games in hand over the three sides above them, and will be confident of securing their eighth win of the campaign to catapult them back into the promotion mix.
Herts Senior County League Division One team Debden Sports registered a highly-impressive win over fellow promotion hopefuls Hitchin Town Arena on Saturday.
The local outfit are nine points adrift of leaders Chipperfield in third, but a win over fifth-placed Allensburys Sports this weekend will keep them in touch as they bid for a promotion.
Finally, Bishop's Stortford, Stansted and District League Premier Division team Loughton had their game with Salvation Army postponed at the weekend.
However, the rest may do the players good, as they gear themselves up for a challenging game against defending league and cup champions Alemite Athletic in the Bill Bruty cup.
