AIDEN Playdell proved that he is going to be a force to be reckoned with in years to come as he punched his way to glory in the London Schools Championships last week.
14-year-old Aiden, who is from Waltham Forest but fights out of Newham Boxing Club, was competing at Gorsbrook Leisure Centre in Dagenham on Sunday, where he was competing in the Golden Gloves.
The young puncher defeated Michael Corbett of Bexley in the final, and after having his arm raised in victory, he was presented with his medal by British Olympic boxer Billy Joe Saunders, who recently turned professional.
